Krithi Weaves began in a small Bengaluru studio, with a stack of cotton swatches and a single question: why does comfortable clothing in India cost so much — and fit so few?
Founded by an architect, the label approaches clothing the way one approaches a building: proportion, light, restraint. Every silhouette is drafted first on paper, then refined on real bodies of different shapes before a single yard is cut.
We work in small batches with local artisans, favour breathable cottons over synthetic blends, and keep every piece under ₹1500 — because good design should be the rule, not a luxury.

Krithi Weaves begins in a two-room Bengaluru studio with handful of kurti drafts pinned to the wall.

First 100 pieces
Our debut collection ships to 100 customers across five cities. Every garment is hand-checked before dispatch.

Artisan partnerships
We team up with three women-led tailoring co-operatives, moving 80% of production to small-batch craft.

We formalise our price promise: no garment ever priced above ₹1500, without compromising fabric or fit.
