Krithi Weaves
Where we make it

Our factories.

We don't own factories — we partner with them. Five small, women-led ateliers across Karnataka and Tamil Nadu stitch every Krithi piece. Each partner is audited every six months for fair wages, safe conditions, and transparent ownership.

What we audit, every six months

These are the five commitments we ask every partner to hold to. Copies of the audit reports are available on request.

  • Fair wages, paid on time

Every artisan earns above the Karnataka/Tamil Nadu minimum wage, paid monthly in verified bank accounts.

  • Safe, lit workspaces

Natural light, ergonomic seating, clean washrooms, and fire-safety audits every six months.

  • Reasonable hours

No compulsory overtime. Breaks every two hours. Overtime, when needed, is opt-in and paid 1.5x.

  • Majority women-led

All four of our current partners are led by women, with women making up 85% of the tailoring teams.

  • Fabric waste tracking

Cut-waste is measured per batch and donated to upcycling initiatives or used in our packaging.
